The Software Measurement European Forum 2007 is the fourth edition of the successful event already held in Rome in 2004-2005-2006 for the software measurement community. The two Italian market and competence leading companies, Istituto Internazionale di Ricerca (http://www.iir-italy.it) and Data Processing Organization (http://www.dpo.it), that have managed the previous successful editions, will be supported again by Ton Dekkers (Shell Information Technology International) in the Program Management. SMEF aspires to remain a leading international event in Europe for experience interchange and knowledge improving on a subject, which is increasingly critical for the ICT governance.
